Write to us
We answer in English or Turkish, usually within two working days. It helps a lot if you include:
- your iPhone model and iOS version (iOS Settings, General, About);
- the game version, shown at the bottom of the game's Settings (for example v1.0.1);
- the device identifier shown just above it (tap and hold to copy);
- what happened, what you expected, and a screenshot if you can.
Your game and progress
Where is my game saved?
On your iPhone, every few seconds while you play, and as a backup in your own iCloud. The game saves when it goes to the background too; an app swiped away from the switcher keeps what was saved up to ten seconds before.
How do I move my game to a new iPhone?
Sign in to the same Apple Account on the new iPhone with iCloud turned on, then install Needle Tycoon. If the new phone has no save of its own, the game picks up your iCloud copy. Then tap Restore purchases in Settings for anything you bought.
How do I start again?
Settings, Start over. It takes you back to the Barn with nothing: the shed, money, plans, needles and medals go. Brass and purchases stay. It cannot be undone.
How do I delete my data?
Settings, Delete my data clears your save from the phone. To remove the iCloud copy, use iOS Settings, your name, iCloud. For anything else we hold, email us with your device identifier. The Privacy Policy has the details.
Playing
How do I find the needles?
Each pile has six. Digging by hand finds one at once when you reach it. Machines put needles onto belts inside clumps of hay, and only a needle scanner takes them out, so put a scanner between your diggers and the sell hatch. The metal detector, once bought, shows how close the next needle is.
A needle was sold. Is it gone?
No. Needles are never destroyed. A needle that is sold, burnt or left on a belt goes back into the pile, near its face, and the game tells you.
My belt does not carry anything.
Belts run one way and take from any side except their exit. Draw from a machine's exit toward where the hay should go. A badge marks any machine with no way out and any belt that ends in nothing. Tap a belt in Build to turn it.
My scanner stopped working.
Scanners and arms need power. Build a hay generator and feed it hay. A machine without power lets things pass without doing its job, so the line keeps moving, but the scanner does not look for needles until it has power.
Does the shed work while I am away?
Yes, for up to eight hours (sixteen with the Foreman's Pass), at a lower rate than when you are watching. When you come back, a card shows what it earned.
The game feels hot or slow on my phone.
Turn on Low graphics in Settings: no shadows and a softer picture, which keeps the phone cooler and the battery longer.
Purchases and membership
How do I restore my purchases?
Settings, Restore purchases. This brings back the Starter Crate's Golden Pitchfork, the Foreman's Pass and an active membership on the same Apple Account. Brass that you spent is not restored.
How do I cancel the membership?
On your iPhone: Settings, your name, Subscriptions, Needle Tycoon, Cancel Subscription. Or use Manage subscription in the game's Settings. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends to avoid the next charge; you keep the benefits until then.
How do I get a refund?
Purchases are handled by Apple, so refunds are too. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, and choose the purchase. We cannot issue refunds ourselves.
I paid but did not get my item.
Close the game fully and open it again, then tap Restore purchases. If it still has not arrived, email us with the date, the item and your device identifier; an Apple receipt helps.
Ads and privacy
Do I have to watch ads?
No. Every ad is a button you choose to press, for a reward shown on it. There are no banners and no ads between screens. The Foreman's Pass gives every ad reward without the video.
How do I change my tracking or ad choices?
Tracking: iOS Settings, Privacy & Security, Tracking. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, the game's Settings has Privacy choices, which opens Google's consent form again.
How do I turn off reminders?
In the game's Settings, or iOS Settings, Notifications, Needle Tycoon.
